However, I realize that every family is different when it comes to what they want from their portrait sessions, so I began offering discounts toward the next session instead. This way, families can decide just how many sessions they’d like to include – and you can start at any time during baby’s first year!

WHAT SESSIONS ARE INCLUDED IN THE WATCH ME GROW OFFER?
Maternity, newborn, any sessions within baby’s first year, and then again when your baby turns two. I offer a variety of session options for each, and all of them come with a credit toward your next session!

WHAT AGES ARE BEST TO CAPTURE MY BABY’S MILESTONES?
There is no right or wrong time to capture your baby’s first year milestones! You get to choose whatever works best for you and your family, but here are some ages and milestones I recommend:

• maternity: recommended between 32 and 36 weeks, earlier with multiples

• newborn: best between 6 and 18 days, studio and in-home sessions are available

• 3-4 months: when baby is lifting their head while on their tummy and smiling consistently

• 6 months: to celebrate their “half birthday” – you decide if you’d like photos to share the day they turn 6 months or photos when they’re already 6 months

• 6-9 months: when they’re sitting unassisted for a “sitter session”

• 12 months: for their first birthday – you decide if you’d like photos for invitations and/ or a party or photos as close to their birthday as possible

• 2 years: for their second birthday

DO I HAVE TO HAVE A MATERNITY OR NEWBORN SESSION TO BEGIN THE WATCH ME GROW OFFER?
No! You’re welcome to jump in any time during your baby’s first year and you can do any combination of the sessions and ages listed above. Here are some of the most popular:

• maternity and newborn

• maternity, newborn, and first birthday

• maternity and one year milestone

• maternity, newborn, 6 months, and one year milestone

• newborn and first birthday

• newborn, 6 months, one year milestone

• 6 months and one year

• one year and two year

The possibilities are endless! It’s all up to you and what memories you’d like to capture.

WHAT KIND OF DISCOUNT DOES THE WATCH ME GROW OFFER INCLUDE?
Each maternity, newborn, and baby milestone session option includes a credit toward another session, and the savings depends on which session option you choose for each portrait session:

• Maternity session credits are good toward a newborn or baby milestone session and range between $50 and $150.

• Newborn session credits are good toward a baby milestone or cake smash session and range between $100 and $150.

• Baby milestone session credits are good toward another baby milestone session before your baby’s 2nd birthday and range between $50 and $150.

So, for a maternity, newborn, and a one year milestone session, you can save up to $300.

For a maternity, newborn, a 6 month baby milestone session, and a cake smash, you can save up to $450.

HOW MANY PORTRAIT SESSIONS CAN I HAVE WITH THE WATCH ME GROW OFFER?
There is no limit on how many sessions you book for your baby’s first (and second) year! The Watch Me Grow offer is available per child (or set of multiples) and is good within 12 months of each session. Please let me know if you have any questions!
