I first met this handsome little guy when he came in with his family for a Christmas mini session. A few months later he was back for this Mr. One-derful cake smash session! This is a popular theme for first birthday sessions, but Gyasi’s parents chose this particular theme because his name literally means “wonderful child” or “one who is wonderful”. I don’t think they could have picked a more perfect theme for their perfect baby boy. ♥
We did a few photos with a Mr. One-derful banner and his little crown before it was time to get messy …
He has the best little smile!
Then the bow tie and crown came off when the cake came out …
He dug in toward the back of the cake and I was so surprised that his cake topper survived the whole session!
I love how messy and covered in frosting his hands got! Ha!
He almost called it quits, but the wooden spoon I gave him sparked a little more interest …
He was covered in frosting by the end …
So I’m sure his parents were thankful they chose the “splash” after the smash!
He insisted on bringing the spoon with him for this part too!
Those big smiles were the perfect ending to a successful cake smash …
And so were those little feet! Ha!
