This little cutie’s mama decided an “Honorah the Explorer” theme for her first birthday … kind of like Dora but better! But first, we took some more traditional portraits of this happy little princess. I loved her big smiles!
Then we moved on to some portraits on the “explorer” set I put together for her. The little safari dress from my client closet was the perfect touch … and so was my little wooden camera!
The hat I bought ended up being too big, but it definitely made this photo even cuter!
Then it was time for cake – and I had to include the floral name her parents brought. So cute!
I thought the cake matched the set perfectly, but baby girl wasn’t quite sure about it at first.
It wasn’t long before she was diving in and “exploring” a bit more though!
I love that I captured this face! ♡
And she loved when I gave her a wooden spoon to help with her exploration. Ha!
She smashed her cake pretty good when it was all over – and then it was time for the splash!
Most babies love my little tub after their cake smash – and so do their parents! Honorah was no exception. She even had her spoon in with her!
I loved that her parents brought the cutest little robe for after the bath … so of course we had to take just one more photo! Congrats on a successful cake smash, baby girl!
