The M Family

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this awesome family at their home again! I always try to do a good mix of posed portraits and candid shots during every family portrait session, but using your home adds an even bigger personal touch to your session. Having your own things and everyday surroundings in your photos just adds to the memories we capture!

The twins were a little shy during our session but we still had a great time. Just look how sweet they are together! ♥

And I love this sweet shot of the two girls!

And Miss Hazel has grown up quite a bit since the first time I met her!

Lifestyle photography is capturing families and kids doing everyday things and these next photos are a great example of why I love photographing genuine moments so much! The three of them had a blast jumping and laughing in one of the cribs!

I thought it was a great idea to photograph Hazel with a few of her favorite books since she is learning how to read. I love the “That’s Not My …” book series from Usborne. They have the best books!

We ended our session in the kids’ super cute play room. I loved the Land of Nod alpaca, tiger, and unicorn heads on the wall with their colorful artwork below them! So fun!

The kids all had a great time drawing but I think baby sister had the best time. I love the joy on her face! Baby brother wasn’t as interested … ha!
