This session was held more than a year ago, but I had to share it here on the blog! Dream Dress sessions are some of my favorites, and I am almost as excited as the girls when they first see the dresses. I absolutely love seeing their faces light up with excitement during the dress reveal, when they have the dress on, and then during our fun portrait sessions! All of my dream dress clients have so much fun posing and swishing. The joy is contagious!
And even though this session happened to be princess-themed, it’s not all about “feeling like a princess”. The tween years, on up through early teens and teen years, can be so difficult for girls. I love the boost these special sessions give them. The focus is completely on them and the girls always feel so beautiful. It’s such a magical experience.
This sweet girl was in awe of this gorgeous couture gown from Bentley & Lace. She had the biggest smile for the whole session! And, like all of my dream dress clients, she was sad when it was over!
I love to keep dream dress sessions simple without too many props because I want the focus to stay on the girls – and their amazing dresses. We have fun with posing instead – and, as you can see from this portrait session, “swishing” is a favorite!
Another favorite pose of mine (and the girls!) is lying down in the dress! The girls are always amazed at how fluffy they are!
We were able to get a few “serious” looks, but it was hard to hold back that beautiful beaming smile!
Miss C had an amazing dream dress session and so much fun. She said she couldn’t wait to do it again!
