Georgia Kate is 3

I first photographed this sweet girl during my holiday mini sessions last fall, and I mentioned in that blog post that she was bursting with personality! I had so much fun with her then and was excited when her mom booked her 3-year session … and had to laugh when her mom described her as a tornado in my session questionnaire. Ha! She is definitely my most favorite tornado ever. ♥

Her 3-year session went great. She just had to stop to dance with her shadow or stop to feel the wind in her face. She even ended our session splashing in a huge rain puddle (see the video posted below)! Childhood at its finest.

Just look at this joy! Isn’t she precious?

She decided to take her shoes off for these … ha!

It had been raining the day before our session back in February, so I told her mom to bring rain boots or shoes she could get wet. Best. Idea. Ever. They looked adorable with her yellow dress … and they were perfect for our puddle jumping photos at the end of our session!

Seriously. How cute are these photos of her dancing with her shadow? All her idea and so super cute!

We did a quick change into her adorable dinosaur dress for a few photos …

before we decided that the yellow dress would do better in puddles than a white one! She had to swing on my horse tire swing before we headed to the puddle though!

And then *splash*! Puddle jumping is one of her favorite things, and she was all in!

It was a big puddle, but she didn’t hesitate for a second. She had a blast and I loved photographing her in action!

Kids having fun and being themselves is definitely a favorite of mine, so I may have had a little trouble narrowing down her puddle jumping photos. See the ones that made it into her gallery in this cute little slideshow I put together. And don’t forget to watch it in HD!
